Sessions are expanded into page views through pages per session, then into ad requests through slots per page. Fill rate determines how many requests become served impressions.
- Page views = sessions x pages per session
- Served impressions = page views x ad slots per page x fill rate
Example
50,000 sessions at 1.8 pages per session and three ad slots produce 270,000 ad requests before fill rate is applied.
