Method & formula
PBT parses CSV fields before comparison, so commas and quoted values are handled as data rather than split with a naive string rule. A comparison key is built from the whole row or selected columns, then either the first or last occurrence is retained.
- Duplicate key = selected parsed field values after optional trim/case normalisation
- Rows kept = rows read − duplicates removed
Example
Select the email column to keep only one record per email address even when other columns differ. Keep first and keep last make the retention rule explicit.
