PALLAS / CALCULATOR
Scientific Calculator
Evaluate scientific expressions locally with powers, logarithms, trigonometry, constants and explicit degree or radian mode. Expressions are parsed by a whitelist grammar rather than executed as JavaScript.

Method & formula
The parser accepts numbers, parentheses, +, −, ×, ÷, remainder and exponent operators, pi/e constants, and a defined set of functions. It never passes the expression to eval or Function. Trigonometric inputs and inverse-trigonometric outputs follow the selected angle mode.
- Supported functions: sqrt, abs, ln, log/log10, exp, sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, floor, ceil, round, min, max, pow
- Exponentiation is right-associative: 2^3^2 = 512
Example
In degree mode, sin(30)^2 + cos(30)^2 returns 1. In radian mode, sin(pi/2) returns 1.

FAQ
Can an expression execute JavaScript?
No. Only the calculator’s explicit numeric grammar, constants and whitelisted functions are accepted.
What does log mean?
log and log10 mean base-10 logarithm; ln means natural logarithm.
