Merge PDF

Combine several PDFs into one document. Put them in the order you want, merge them in your browser and download the finished file without uploading the originals.

Local PDF merge

Choose PDFs in the order you want them combined

Add up to 20 PDFs with a combined size of 50 MB. You can reorder or remove them before PBT creates the new document.

Choose at least two files. The order shown below becomes the order in the merged PDF.

How it works

PBT checks each PDF, then copies its pages into a new document in the order shown above. The work happens in your browser, and the temporary processing worker is closed when the merge finishes, fails, is cancelled or times out.

Example

Select proposal.pdf, terms.pdf and appendix.pdf. Keep that order or move the files around. The downloaded merged.pdf contains the proposal first, followed by the terms and then the appendix.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. The selected documents stay on this device while PBT merges them.

Can it merge password-protected PDFs?

No. Encrypted, password-protected or damaged PDFs cannot be merged by this tool.

Does merging change page quality?

PBT copies the PDF pages into a new document rather than turning them into images or deliberately lowering their quality. The internal file structure can still change because a new PDF is being written.

Privacy

Your PDFs and filenames stay on this device. The merged file is offered through a temporary browser download and is not stored by PBT.
