Image Enhancer
Improve tone, colour and detail with Auto Enhance, or use Restore & Upscale for 4× model-backed restoration. In either mode, your source image stays on this device.
Local image enhancement
Enhance an image
Use Auto Enhance for measured tone, colour and detail correction, or Restore & Upscale when the source genuinely needs 4× restoration. Both run on this device.

How it works
Auto Enhance makes measured adjustments to tone, colour and detail without changing image dimensions. Restore & Upscale (Beta) uses a Real-ESRGAN model in your browser to reconstruct a larger 4× image from smaller tiles. The two modes stay separate so correction is never confused with reconstruction.
Example
Use Auto Enhance for a product photo that looks slightly flat or soft but is already large enough. Use Restore & Upscale only when a genuinely low-resolution image needs reconstruction as well as a larger output.
Frequently asked questions
Does Restore & Upscale use a model?
Yes. Restore & Upscale (Beta) uses the Real-ESRGAN general x4v3 ONNX model for 4× restoration. Auto Enhance is a separate correction mode and does not claim to recreate missing detail.
Does Restore & Upscale upload my image?
No. The image is processed in an isolated browser worker. On first use, your browser may download the model and runtime files from PBT, but your image is not sent with those requests.
Will enhancement always make an image better?
No. A well-exposed, well-processed image may need very little adjustment. Preview the result and keep only the changes that genuinely improve it.
Why are there limits on Restore & Upscale?
Model-based upscaling is much heavier than ordinary image editing. PBT limits the source size so the browser can complete the work reliably without exhausting local memory.
Privacy
Your image stays on this device while PBT decodes, adjusts and exports it. Restore & Upscale may download static model and WebAssembly files from PBT, but those requests do not contain your source image. PBT does not store the original or enhanced result.
