How it works
PBT opens the image in your browser, applies the rotation or flip you choose, then exports the result in the original JPG, PNG or WebP format. It also checks the image size before processing so the browser does not take on more decoded data than it can safely handle.
Example
Rotate a 1600 × 900 image by 90° and the output becomes 900 × 1600. Flip it horizontally instead and the dimensions stay at 1600 × 900 while left and right are mirrored.
Frequently asked questions
Does rotation reduce quality?
PNG stays lossless. JPG and WebP need to be re-encoded, so their output quality follows the setting you choose.
What happens to EXIF orientation?
The browser applies the image orientation when it decodes the file, then PBT applies the rotation or flip you request.
Privacy
Your image is processed in the browser. PBT does not upload or store the source file.
